Medjool dates are a type of date native to the Middle East. They are known for their intensely sweet flavor, large size and soft, juicy texture.
Medjool dates grow in warm, dry climates. In the northern hemisphere, they are harvested between September and November, and in the southern hemisphere between March and May.
